Outlook Temporary File Fills Hard Drive

Program: Outlook 2000
When outlook is launched, it creates a temporary file that keeps increasing in size until the entire hard drive has been filled. An uninstall and reinstall of office doesn’t solve the problem. It sounds like some sortof virus, but I haven’t found anything via searching the matches. Any help would be appreciated.
