Outlook Today Hangs on Start Up

I have a problem with Outlook 2000 where it hangs on the Outlook Today portion. I am able to open directly into the Inbox, Outbox, etc and everything is fine. It is only when I click on the Outlook Today bar that it hangs and the resources shoot up to 100%. I have re-installed the program, renamed/deleted the outlwvw.dll, used /switches to open it, and nothing seems to work.

Any help would be great.
