Outlook using AOL

By johnmick ·
I travel and have an AOL account and would like to use Outlook to send and receive mail through my AOL account since Outlook is what I use in the office. Any suggestions?

It can't be done without buying a third-party solution. There are a couple here:

Slipstick.com is the number 1 Outlook source on the web.

Just look through AOLs FAQ files for POP3 support. I don't know if they offer it or not, I tend to doubt it. But could.

You should be able to receive through Outlook but not send. You need to setup the Incoming Server but I think you can't setup the Outgoing server with AOL. HTH
