Outlook Web Access

By jlivingston ·
I have Outlook Web Access for my remote users. Many of my users use backgrounds and stationary in their messages, yet when users try to access the email from Outlook Web Access, the backgrounds and stationary simply appears as an attachment. (notebook.jpg, etc.) Does anyone know how I can enable stationary on the OWA? Any help would be appreciated.

My users don't have that problem. Well, check on your browser under Tools, internet options, advanced, multimedia. Make sure you have all that apply checked.

Good Luck!

Outlook Web Access (OWA) provides limited functionality compared with the full Outlook client (or Outlook Express). Additionally, OWA is running ASP scripts to make MAPI calls to Exchange to get your user's e-mail. Some items just aren't available when you display the message in HTML. Examples are Word/Excel documents which are displayed as Web Links vs. Icons in Outlook. Exchange 2000 OWA will work MUCH better with new web-addressable message store.

Unfortunately, what you describe is a limitation of OWA under Exchange 5.5SPx

I just tried this, I used OE5 to connect with my Ex5.5, sent a email with stationary, picked the email up with OWA and all was correct, check that your sending html from your client, also check that your E5.5 is set up to send html/mime and not set for plain text.
