Outlook Web Access - Logged out when try and delete a message

PC running XPSP2 and IE7
When trying to delete a message in Outlook Web Access the user is logged out and this message is displayed at the login screen:

Your session has expired. To continue your work, please re-enter your domain\alias or your e-mail address and password, and then click Log On.

The problem does not occur when using Firefox.
