Outlook will not open

I find this so weird.
I have a Win98 se box with Office 2000 installed.
The client comes in the morning clicks on the Outlook Icon and the box indicating that it is opening come up and hangs there.
I did a repair, I uninstalled Outlook and reinstalled Outlook twice.
I renamed the pst file.
Does anyone have any ideas on this one.
