Outlook with Multiple Exchange servers

By corruptedlamb ·
I have a stumper! I have a user that needs to attach to two separate Exchange Servers (Both v5.5) in 2 different domains in Outlook. Since you cannot add the Exchange service twice to Outlook I have set up a profile for each server. However, thiscauses the user to close Outlook and open the new profile by launching Outlook again. He is starting to get frustrated with this approach.

Because the servers are actually part of 2 different companies, it would be illegal for me to auto-forwardone mailbox to the other. Both my counterpart in the other company and I are stymied by this one, and the user (an executive in both companies) is increasing his complaints daily.

Does anybody know a solution for loading 2 Exchange Server sessions in one Outlook window? It would be appreciated!

I would suggest using MS-Outlook & Outlook Express as the two clients - one for each Exchange Server. It is easy to use, easy to configure and almost all features are similar. See if this is a possible solution.
Best Of luck.

A possibility (if one of the Exchange servers is so configured) is to access one of the servers as Internet Email (POP3/SMTP).

Nice thought but we had already gone down this road. Didn't allow for meeting and task functions.
