Outlook won't display contacts

By wspadget ·
When I click on "to" in a new mail message, sometimes I can see my contacts list and sometimes it is blank.

Any thoughts?

when you click To, try selecting other choices in the pull down menu underneath the 'Type Name or Select From List' box. is that what is going on?

Try exporting you contacts and importing them back. It has worked a few times for me. Sometimes they just get weird.

Depending on what version of outlook you are using - go to tools / services / addressing. Make sure you have contacts, personal address book etc in there somewhere, or at the bottom add them in. Or, close outlook, go to control panel, mail. Click on the properties of the profile, make sure you have outlook address book in there along with whatever other mail service you use (Internet Email or Exchange server).
