Outlook won't forward graphics

By dwalton1 ·
We've got a minor annoyance with Outlook. It's easy to work around, but we'd rather not have to and since I'm no Outlook specialist, I'm asking for some assistance...
One laptop will not forward emails containing graphic attachments. It will forward attachments of other formats and originate messages with graphic format attachments and no other systems are reported as exhibiting this problem.
Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx
DA Walton

Have you tried...

by geekchic In reply to Problem Details...

zipping the .mpg and .wmv files before you send them? Those file types tend to be pretty big so it could be a problem of exceeding size limitations in Outlook 2003. There is also a SP out there you might want to install. I will keep looking though my notes and see if there is anything else you can try...

Additional info...

Here's a little more info on our problem.

It actually seems that it's not the file type that is a problem, but whether he is cc'd on the message or not.
If he's the sole recipient, there is no problem forwarding the files, however, if he's cc'd on it, then we can't forward at all, even if there are no attachments.

Put's a bit of a twist on it. Sorry for that.
btw, the file size was not an issue. It was the 1st thing I checked. And, if we detached the file and created a new message, there were no problems.

Thanks for the effort, and again, any help is appreciated on this.
