The file in question is WINMAIL.DAT-used to preserve formatting by sending client, but is not recognized by receiving client using email other than Outlook,WINMAIL.DAT files use Rich Text Format restrictions
To avoid including WINMAIL.DAT,use the plain text mail format,To select Plain Text
1.Choose Options from the Tools menu to open the Options dialog box
2.Click Mail Format tab
3.Select Plain Text from the Send In This Message Format box
Reference KB articleQ149203 and Q138053 for mor info on WINMAIL.DAT
