Outlook2000 - Class not registered error

By graham.watson ·
When printing in win98 from Outlook2000 I get an error "Error 0x80040154: Class not registered". Click OK and the job prints.
MS has no support files to help with this. Any ideas?

Outlook2000 - Class not registered error

by VinnyD In reply to Outlook2000 - Class not r ...

"Class not registered" usually means that something is missing or wrong in the registry.

With Outlook 2002 first try using Detect and Repair to see if it will correct it.

If you can print to the same printer from another program, the error is likely to be with outlook.

If you can print from Word, you can make word your default editor / read for outlook and see if you can print that way.

If all this fails it is time to uninstall outlook and the re-install it again.
