OWA and external emails

By mtorres7 ·
I have configured Outlook Web Access, and everything is working fine! Now, I need to configure the external emails, to let them gain access to my Exchange Server automatically. I have configured the same name of the internal emails as in the Exchange Server. I prefer to let our ISP to handle the external email traffic, and call them to Exchange when the user needs them. I need a solution to keep both scenarios working.

You need to configure the internal Exchange server to accept delivery form foreign mail systems?

Or do you need to configure your Excahnge server to allow POP3 connectivity?

Could you suggest me the less painless configuration for this scenario? Is there any problem with having the same email for the ISP account and for the internal Exchange? Maybe re-configuring the type of account (SMTP, X400, etc.). When configured POP3 connections, the emails arrive to the ISP, but dissapears. My exchange server are not receiving them.
