OWA and public folders

By pelleilund ·
Hi there!
I have Exchange server 5.5 and want to (for some reason) hide the public folders to be visible on the internet. When same account is logged in at our lan the public folders should be visible.
Anyone have a tip?

OWA and public folders

I don't think you can hide them, but you can disable the Anonymous access to them and require that users logon to the system before they have access to the folders.

In Exchange admin, open the site - configuration container. Open protocols, now open the properties of the HTTP protocol. On the General tab you can 'disable' anonymous access to Public Folders.

Good luck.

Rick
