OWA multiple authentication prompts

By tvanduze ·
Hi! I have an annoying problem. Out of the blue, (this is the first time in the 4 years it's been running), my Exchange 2000 server is prompting 4 or 5 times for logon credentials when users are attempting to access their mailbox via Outlook Web Access. I don't have ISA, and this is happening whether you are inside the firewall or outside. I'm having a tough time finding any information on this on the web, so any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Go to the user and passwords option in the control panel users and password, highlight the user and hit properties. Remove the stored password. If their is a stored password it's going to try and use that first and continue until it's removed.

Unfortunately,it is happening to all 1500 Active Directory / Exchange users. I don't have control panel / users on the server, and can't possibly go to all the work and home computers that all the users are using to try OWA. I apologize I wasn't clear that it was all our users as opposed to just a few. Thank you very much for your suggestion.....any others?

You need to include a lot more information like what type of authentication are you using for IIS? What type of domain is it? AD etc. Sounds like a caching issue on the server, but not enough info is provided.
