OWA/Proxy/IIS

Can someone tell me why I can access owa from the outside but not from within my proxy server? I can get to the default Internet INformation services web page (which I do not want) but I can’t get to subdirectory under (for OWA) inside my proxy. Running NT 4.0 server, Exchange 5.5, OWA, Proxy Server 2.0. Thanks
