Recently I have had to re-format my Hard Drive as I was unable to access any page at all, including Outlook express 5. Once everything was re-installed, it worked fine for a few weeks, but than: It Happened again! I am running Widows-98-SE on a 200 Pentium 40meg ram Computer. What I did, what was suspected, that Internet explorer 5.5 was the culprit. This was re-installed, and I was back on air again. When I re-installed explorer 5.5, it did not ask me any question like: ‘Internet Explorer is already on Your Computer, Would You like to overwrite it?’ Instead it loaded straight in, without asking any question. Can someone tell me, if this is a Explorer 5.5 characteristic, or is their something that I can do to fix this problem by a certain command line?
