I want, if yuo can send me, information about how to connect the Palm Pilot IIIxe to Windows 98 using PalmVNC, WinVNC and the HotSync cradle, without modem.

Here you go.
You need a dumb ppp server, and let the Palm connect to this dumb ppp server.
You can use Mocha PPP, which is a ppp server that don’t need a modem. You can install this ppp server on your desktop and put your palm to its cardle, thenconnect palm to your Mocha PPP rightaway without a modem.

In fact it is a NAT ppp server and would not need dynamic route function so it is very simple and you don’t need to install any thing on the Palm, just install it on your desktop.
