Palm T E crashes – selecting month view

    Locked

    by wilhelm ·

I have a Palm Tungsten E. Lately when I select the week or month view it crashes giving a “Emul64KMain.c,Line:108,divide by zero at address 301C6CC4” error. I am also experiencing problems with syncing. It disconnects when syncing the calander.
Is there a way to uninstall just the PIM or calander then reinstall it fresh? Or do I need to do a hard reset and just reinstall everything fresh? Either way I am using Linux on my desktop and syncing with jpilot or gnome-pilot.
    Thank you for your assistance.

You have encountered the >64k resource bug, if you upgrade you gpilotd to the latest version it will fix you problem.

Let us know what version you are using.

I have similar problem, caused by repetitive record of birthday, beamed to my palm. try this:

      – Respald your palm in PC
      – Eliminate your Datebook records
      – Create some and probe week, month view. If no problem, you need localize the record causing problem.
      – Then, restore datebook records.
