Party Games and Ideas

By heatherelira ·
My husband is turning 40 in february and I want to throw an awesome party he can remember for a while (surprise of course)

Any ideas on themes, games, activities etc. It will probably be done at our church facilities or a rented restuarant party room. Probably involving quite a few friends.

Any tips at all are apprecaited.

When my brother turned 40

by DMambo In reply to Party Games and Ideas

His wife had a friend dress up as the Grim Reaper and SILENTLY follow him everywhere for the whole night. It was very funny and did creep him out after a while. Now, this girl was a professional. She worked at Sea World in San Diego as on of the silent dress up characters that kids follow around, but I'm sure anybody who can keep their mouth shut will do. hehehe.

Need some information

by jdclyde In reply to Party Games and Ideas

what are some of his hobbies?
Activities?
Is he into sports?
Does he play games board/video?
What does he do for enjoyment?
What does he like that he doesn't usually have the time for?

Call a party planner if you want this to be really good. Many party stores do stuff like this, though I don't know how much it costs.

Don't know about your budget, but a light lunch/dinner is also nice. While catering can be a little expensive, it is hard to do the food yourself and still keep it a suprise.

Hope this helps! Make sure to come back afterwards and let us know how it goes.
