Password not saved when send/receiveLocked
When you connect to your Internet service provider (ISP) to retrieve messages from a Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) server, your password is not retained even though you have chosen to save the password in the User profile configuration and continuosly check the “save pasword” box in the “Enter network password” dialog. Applying the patch referenced in Knowledge Base 290684 does not resolve the issue. How can you edit the registry to resolve this nagging problem? Occurs on Windows 2000 Professional with Outlook 2002 (10.4712.4219)SP-2.
