Remove the cmos battery from the motherboard for about a minute. Then replace it. That should do it.

The CMOS battery looks like a watch battery.

Does anybody has an idea where on the mother board is this CMOS battery (Omnibook XE2 DD)? I mean, is it easy to access and to change or I have to go to a computer shop?

Newer laptops store the password in a security chip that holds the contents even if power is removed.

Newer laptops will not access anything as they boot before the password is provided.

There are some sites that have possible backdoor passwords. You can find them through a google search.
