Paste Special from Word Macro

By hurdk ·
I have a Word document with a macro.
The Word document macro launches Outlook.
In the Word document macro I need code to
perform Paste Special from Outlook.
Is this possible?
Thank you.

I'm not a VB programmer and it looks like you have to be one to get this to work from a single macro.

Maybe it'd be easier to write a second macro (call it PS) from Outlook that opens Outlook if needed and performs the Paste Special.

Then, just have the Word macro run the PS macro.

Hoping this helps...

I checked out the Outlook automation object model (when you posted your first question about this) and couldn't find a way to do it.

The only other way I can think of is to do a "SendKeys" kind of thing to the Outlook instance. Not fun.
