Pasting text from Internet to Word XP

By julioairizar ·
Something strange is happen to my Word XP. When I copy text from a website, example: from a TechRepublic Newsletter received in my Yahoo mail account, and paste into a blank Word's document, it all OK, but when I copy this text directly from TechRepublic website (and others, this is only an example) and paste into Word XP, the pasted text is always in Bold font and the Bold button is no active. This is only happen with Word XP. Anybody have an idea of what happen here? May be I have Gremlings inside my computer or what?
Thank!!

when you paste the text into Word XP, check your style box, you may have a heading style(or some other style-apart from NORMAL style)applied and this may be causing the bold formatting option to be applied.
With XP, some of the text you insert fromthe clipboard takes on a 'web style' which may be giving you the bold formatting.
