By mcerame ·
Need help, computer won't shut down after installing PCI to PCMCIA boar in desktop. One member responded with WOL turn it off. I went into setup and could not find WOL, and yes my system does support WOL. Member was Vvs1blue@, if I had direct email I could find out quicker answer.

Thank You

Lots of things

There are lots of things this could be.

One thing I would try is moving the PCMCIA adapter to a different slot.

There is a very good shut down trouble shooting guide posted at www.aumha.org give it a try.

PCI is only present in desktop computers. PCMCIA on the other hand is for laptop computers. They are not interchangeable. The only interchangeable slot is USB..
