Peer Mail

By Oz_Media ·
HI all, over the last few days I have receieved several emails from peers. This is great and people are more than welcometo drop me a line and say Hi!.

One problem though, for those of you who are less active in discussions, your profile is buried and practically impossible to find.

I cannot reply to peer mail as you need to find the persons profile and then try the contact link, if available.

Searching by user name doesn't work anymore and the peer database seems ot be lost, or I just can't see it now.

So please, I welcome you emails, kind comments, invites, well wishes etc. But you need to pass on an email address so they can be responded to, I don't want people thinking I am ignoring them, I just can't reply to them.

Even posting a link to one of your posts, any post or your profile would be a great help!

Thanks much, hope you can contact me with details so that I can reply as needed. :)

OM

Well especially when you wantto reply and can't.

by Oz_Media In reply to Hopefully they will have ...

It makes you look stuck up or that you are ignoring people. I have three that were sent by peer mail and for the life of me I can't find the users profiles.

It's frustrating as this is not how I conduct business, I am usually quite prompt with replies and feedback when needed. I am accessible, most of the time, TR has stripped me of that value.

Perhaps I should sue, kinda like that idiot who is suing BOA.

Hehe...that was a nice discussion though..

The BOA discussion was interesting for me, to see how a few folks really had the mindset that its all BOA's fault.

Its such a wild concept for me to wrap my head around that everything is someone else's fault if you are being totally ignorant. I guess I'm just strange, but my folks raised me to be paranoid that EVERYTHING is my fault....LOL

(just kidding...my parents are great really).

I know what you mean

but what about people that disable the contact, so you can't send them a message, and send you one that needs replying, but needs to stay confidential.

that is extremely frustrating.:-/

People who don't activate a contact link

by Oz_Media In reply to I know what you mean

In my eyes they have no trust or interest in bceoming part of the TR community. You want to ignore my email, I have no problem ignoring your own. Sometimes this is by mistake or just out of insecurity. I didn't activate MY contact link for a few months after I came here, I needed to see what kind of bottom feeders would be sending me email.

Seeing as most are no lower than myself, I opened up the peer contact.

Getting even funnier

by Oz_Media In reply to Peer Mail

Well I suppose one of the peers I am speaking about has read this post. I was sent a link to the peers profile page, but the person hasn't got an active contact link!

This is just getting funnny now...HELLOOOOOOOOO, person trying to say 'Hi', ozmedia at excite.com

You get one more chance and after that, "No soup for YOU!"
