Our COO is on the rampage because someone from his senior staff missed a meeting – said she never got the notification in Outlook that it was changed.
So I went in, saw that the meeting was in her calendar flagged as tentative… either because she never accepted it, deleted it, ignored it or she accidentally hit “tentative”. Either that or she has a delegate in her Outlook that does these things for her and screwed up. On top of that, the admin who created the meeting never flagged the reminder notification thing.
I’m fairly certain that this isn’t an Exchange issue but more of a “human factor”. Either way our COO wants it fixed however I don’t think he’ll like my solution to the human factor problem!
This isn’t a technical question… but more or less wondering if I’m not alone in being an IT guy who shoulders the blame for every problem in the company when it turns out that your systems are solid but it’s the people using them that are screwing up.
