Dear experts,
I have one big problem with my computer (laptop)
As you can see in the first link ( http://iview.indoku.org/share-4D5E_49CA62C1.html ), I can’t change the settings for system restore. Then I tried to look for the problem using gpedit. Unfortunately, whenever I try to run gpedit.msc in run menu, I always get denied access ( http://iview.indoku.org/share-1750_49CA62C1.html ),
Then I tried to run mmc.exe then open the gpedit.msc, I found the menu for the restore, and change it ( http://iview.indoku.org/share-28C9_49CA62C1.html ).
Another problem came up, whatever the setting is, the system restore settings still can not be changed.
Can you help me how to fix this?
one more question, now I can no longer to use the computer management (everything in administrative tools), I always get access denied ( http://iview.indoku.org/share-0AD2_49CA62C1.html ). I must use ‘author’ or ‘run as’ ( http://iview.indoku.org/share-D906_49CA62C1.html ). What could be the main cause of these problems? and how can I fix it?
Here are th conditions:
1. I am a administrator in my own computer
2. I’m using genuine winxp sp2 home edition
3. for the gpedit, I followed the guides from someone to install it on my own computer.
Thanks before.
Any comments/suggestion would be helpful.
