Photoshop 7.0 HELP Question

By valeriejo ·
I am trying to create business cards for a friend and TYPE TOOL has all of my letters underlined. I have tried Ctrl U to un-underline it and nothing seems to work. I need to get this job done and obviously I sorta know what I'm doing, I just need someone to tell me how to correct this issue.

Thank you

Regarding underlined text in Photoshop 7

by kirkstarr In reply to Photoshop 7.0 HELP Questi ...

Hi Valerie,

No, Ctrl-U won't work here. :) Here's what to do instead:

1. Open the Character window (Window -> Character)

2. Highlight the underlined text.

3. Click the circle with the black triangle in the top right corner of the Character window. You will see a selection about halfway down for "Underline". My guess is this option is checked. Uncheck it and the underline should go away.

Hope this solves your problem.
