Pinball & Win XP

When my kid tries to play pinball on my PC (Win Xp, Pinball starts OK, after a few seconds freezes(including mouse & K’board)then starts again, then freezes again, and this can happen all day.
Just ’cause of that, i reinstalled win Xp (clean install)but no luck, then i copied the Pinball game from another win xp, where it worked fine, but when i installed on my PC the result was the same.
I must mention that all the other win xp games work OK.
