“Please power off/on your handset” message on iPhone

Once in a while I get such a message on my iPhone, but only when I am in flight mode. Message is disapeared if I press one of the buttons. Does that mean my phone was hacked?

If there was an iOS or security update recently, you would likely be prompted to power cycle the device.

From my experience as a CS rep for At&t, it could be that the phone needs to reconnect to the local towers/network when coming out of airplane mode.
