Please Suggest me can i use whatsapp mod? is it safe ?

i am going to use whatsapp modified version for my whatsapp conversation but some one tell me that whatsapp mods are not secure can any one help me to decide can i go for whatsapp mod or not ? here is whatsapp mod details check this :
