I live on a compound where there is a network. The proxy server on this network runs via an ADSL into another proxy server (ISP) and from there to the net as a whole. For some reason I cannot use Outlook to download pop/smtp when connected to it even though normal internet works fine (with normal ISP there is no problem.) My suspicions are the second proxy server has blocked the ports for mail. Is there any software that will allow me to bypass this filtering or any network settings that can adjusted?
