POP3's and SMTP's for OutLook Express

By Saiga308tm ·
Every time I change ISP's I always have problems setting up my e-mail (OutLook Express) and Internet Explorer accounts. Does anyone know where I can find the ones I need for WalMart's new service or have them, wmconnect.com ?

Thank you in advance,
Thomas

POP3's and SMTP's for OutLook Express

Most ISPs have a web page that provides step by step instructions for setting up your e-mail account.

At wmconnect, you need a user name and password to access the member information.

I would start by looking there.

If you started out with a CD for the service, i suspect that there are files on the CD to help setup your e-mail account.

POP3's and SMTP's for OutLook Express

Walmart's wmconnect.com is actually a Compuserve portal. I'd assume that your problem might be similar to the classic Compuserve POP3 Mail issues. (For Compuserve you can just type "GO POP3" for setup info/help. Don't know if wmconnect has such a feature)

Compuserve has recently added POP3 and SMTP capability. SMTP and POP3 mail server settings for Main CompuServe are both
"mail.compuserve.com."
Compuserve users have to update their account at:
http://www.csi.com/communications/ (only members have access) They also require a software security link called Virtual Key.
http://www.compuserve.com/rpa

Might pay to try either
"mail.compuserve.com"
or
"mail.wmconnect.com"
for both POP3 and SMTP.

Good luck.
