Popup on Vista problem

By rpbert4 ·
I have a new computer with Vista. And I am now having a problem with a popup that says the following:.
?Navigation to the webpage was canceled
What you may try Refresh the page
This program cannot display the webpage.
Most likely causes, etc. ?

No information on what the webpage was; no indication as to URL.
I can delete it by using Task Manager, but after a while it pops back up. I can also go to ?Processes? and I find the following highlighted ?HPSdpApp.exe? which is ?HP SDP Application Module? . If I click ?End Process? or ?End Process Tree? this will delete the popup. But only temporarily. A little later it shows up again. You can?t right click the popup to find ?Properties? or anything else about it.
A related question is: Do I really need the ?HPSdpApp.exe - HP SDP Application Module? or is it just an HP add-on. I have been deleting all the HP add-ons I know I don?t need. Thanks for any help.
