I am wondering if you are able to port cellphone numbers to be used on VoIP line devices (Deskphones, DECT 6.0 enabled phones, etc.)

The process is almost identical to porting from landline to cell phone. To confirm the requirements, check with the landline company first, no need to contact your wireless phone company to start the process.

If you have a remaining balance on a device payment plan with your cell phone company it will be due on your final statement from them when your plan is canceled. You should be able to keep your old phone #.
