I’m a little embarrassed to ask this but…Does a scheduled defrag run if the computer is in sleep or hibernate mode? The reason I am confused is that I didn’t think it did, but if I go to run defrag, it will report that the last scan was at, for example, 1:00 am yesterday. I know that the computer was in hibernate mode at that time so a) did the defrag actually run or b) is it basing the report on the last “scheduled” time? I am running Vista Home Premium.
