Power Point Presentations

I need to make some power point presentations for Office 2000 I have all the documentation that needs to be covered on paper, but would like to do it via Powerpoint does anybody know of any good 'free' office Powerpoint presentations I can download and change if I need to.

They have some templates there you could download and use as the basics for your presentation.

Andy,
You really don't need to download a presentation. Powerpoint is pretty easy, just stick to a template to start. You can do a lot of things with it as long as you are willing to take a little abuse from it now and again. Guru is right though, as always, there are some more templates you can use on that link. I would suggest you try to build it yourself, if you get good at it then it is an easy way to earn points and add to a resume later.

Couple of Suggestions

If this is a presentation for an internal audience then try to find an existing presentation for backgrounds, color schemes, etc.

Keep it simple. Don't go into detail beyond your audience level, and don't put the detail in the slides.

Think of the slides as short bullets. The audience should be able to read a single slide in seconds, and then listen to you.

Here is an example using my suggestions above:

- Corporate formats
- Simple
- Level
- Listen
