PowerPoint: Data labels for stacked col

By carmen110us ·
I am looking for a way to add a "total" data label to a stacked column graph. When I apply data values it gives me the value of each series, but I want something that sums them all up. Ideally, I'd like to put a data table at the bottom showing individual series values and then show the totals on the graph. Can anyone help?

Hello,
One easy way would be to create the graph in Excel and paste it to your slide (you could also link for auto update of information when the table data changes). Excel has a lot more chart and graph functions. This is quick and dirty shortcut.

The first answer looks good to me. If that doesn't work, try something else. Hope this helps
