PPP [71 Timed out on dialing to ISP

We have a problem with a SBS4.5 server which has a ISDN TA. When exchange dials
out periodically to collect email after normal working hours to the ISP, it
occasionally gets hung up. On looking at the event log, the first error shows as[71 Timed out waiting for a valid response PPP. When the exchange server tries
to dial again the error [651] is reported and then on the third time and all
times after that the error [692] is reported. The only way we have found to clear
the problem is to turn off the ISDN TA adapter and turn it back on again. This
problem is obviously causing problems with the TA and the first error starts
around 7pm. This leads me to belive that the ISP must be loaded with traffic and
maybe isn'tresponding within timeouts.

Can anyone help with an answer or what to change to on the dial up settings to
correct this problem?
