Print Job Problem

I have a current problem with a user’s PC which has W2k Pro as the operating system and he uses a HP 1100 Laserjet. The problem is after going to file and selecting print nothing happens. I open the hp printing back screen and I see the print job in the window, but the print job just stays in que. Can anyone help me with this one?
