Printer installation

After format I have lost my printer. I inserted lexmark install disk and chose install. I recieved a”insufficient memory” error. I have 256 RAM and a ton of hard drive space. I haven’t changed my cache settings and have no idea why this program won’t install. Contacted Lexmark and was told it was a windows problem but can’t figure it out. I have installed all other program disks with no problem.This printer (lexmark Z22) is not USB. I have tried shutting down all running processes with and without printer connected.I even tried in safe mode, again with and without cable. Lexmark support told me it was a Windows problem without even listening to me about trying all the system fixes provided.
