Easiest way to connect to network printer from Win2k ?

1) Get the -current- windows 2000 printer driver from the manufacturer

2) Use "My Network Places" to go to the Windows 9x computer

3) Right click on the printer and select install. If you don't see the printer listed, you will have to add file and printer sharing for Microsoft networks, and share the printer. Use 'user level' access and give 'everyone' the right to print.

4) Win2K should complain about not having the correct driver, select have disk and feed it the driver you obtained from the web

5) You should be able to print to it now

Good Luck

Make sure the printer is shared. The data type should be set to RAW.

Good luck.
