Printing Chinese Characters

By MoodySkipper ·
I want to be able to print chinese characters from web pages. I have installed the chinese driver for my printer (HP laserjet 5n). But am still unable to print the characters. I use a Win98Se O/S with IE 6 on a Novell Network. Can this be done or would I be able to print using another type of printer, I have been told that Lexmark inkjet printers would?

Do you have a Chinese font installed?

There are 2 fonts that support Chinese characters that you can download from this site

Remove any spaces from the pasted link.

Usually, the different language versions of drivers mean that the message boxes and help instructions will be displayed in that language.

Also, if you are using Win2000, it can read and write chinese, japanese and korean text. Just a tip, in case you want to use Win2000 for this purpose.
