Printing Error with Word 2000 on HP 5000

Hello
I want to print a document which is on Word 2000 and when I look in preview it looks fine. But when I print the document, the checkboxes come up with MACROBUTTON Checkit and checkboxes are displayed as(5).Even the date is displayed as {DATE\*MERGEFORMAT}.Now Office 2000 is with SP1 and SP2.
Someone pls help
