I have a rather bizzare problem. I have the following printers connected to all pc’s in our company.
HP 4000TN – Networked (Default)
Offive Deskjet D series – Networked
and also a FAX machine.
All of these worked ok together until recently but now what happens is that when i try to print from Excel the application crashes. This will happen even if i just try to do a print preview etc.
I have installed service packs etc.
I have moved the HP from being default printer and this somehow stops the application crashing and allows print previews. However we do loads of printing from this PC and it would be easier haivng this as the default on this PC, also still feel there is an underlying problem. What could be the problem?
The operating system on the malfunctioning Pc is Windows 2k. Biazzarely all other 2k machines work fine.
Does anyone know of a permanent fix for this problem?
