Printing issue with domain users

By twhite ·
Windows 2003 Server - Terminal Server Environment
Multiple types of Printer - Problem occurs on all

Some of the domain users will print a document to a printer on the network and the printed document will print on a quarter sheet of the paper miniturized or some times just print one line out of the entire document. I can have another domain user sign on and print the same document to the same printer and it works fine.

What I have tried:
Created a new profile by renaming the old one
Deleted account from Active users, deleted the profile and then re-created the account.
Still after the above the printing doesn't work properly.

If I create a brand new user the printer works correctly.

Any ideas?

Damaged driver attached to the profile would be my first guess.

If you talking about a printer driver. I don't see how it could be that considering it happens to multiple printers.

For each of the terminal services clients, note their operating systems, then for each combination of printers/operating systems install the desired print drivers onto the terminal server. Then for each user make sure that the printer driver for that operating system is EXACTLY the same as the drive on the terminal server. For each network printer, if you have both XP, 2000 and 98 users printing to it, then the terminal server must have all three print drivers installed. If a user requires a PS driver and another requires PCL5e driver, then both of these drivers must also be installed for that printer on the terminal server.
