Printing outlook emails

By kevink ·
I'm the IT person for my company and I get a lot of what I consider "why the **** are you asking me this" questions. But, I try to indulge them and try to get an answer to their questions. Now this one is bugging me as well because I went through the print and email options and nothing. I even went as far as to look this up in my trusty XP Office book and nada. So, here is my question. In Microsoft outlook (XP Pro) the individual want to print the email and have the .PDF attachment icon print with the email. I can't find an option to do that. On my computer when I print the icons do appear with the email. I compared both computer and I can not find any difference. Please help or I'm going to start drop kicking people.

This is a pain

by guy In reply to Printing outlook emails

In outlook, set the "Read all messages as plain text" restart outlook and away you go.

The problem is that you probably don't want to view everything as plain text. I think this is an interoperability problem with IE7.

Check Exchange

by ryan In reply to Printing outlook emails

I have found that this problem is caused by an update in Exchange 2007. I have rolled back updates, and clients are now able to print from Outlook 2007.
