Printing problem

By isaac_arenas ·
For some reason half of the users can't print on network printers, every time they try to print,it asks for a password, but on the other hand the rest of the users (which have the same rights)are able to print fine.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
P.S. I'm using an NT O.S..

Printers are not setup to required password,I've tried deleting the printer and reinstalling it,checking permission on printers, deleteing and creating users, checking users rights, but none of these work, even if I create a whole different user it won't work.

it sounds as though you have a permission problem. Check groups you are putting these people in! What OS are the users on? Are all users on the same LAN or across a WAN. Are you using MS tcp/ip printing or a third party? If using MS TCP/IP try stopping and restarting the services. Are all users in the same domain? Maybe this helps if not email me at rodneyw@jep3.state.fl.us with some of this info and I'll try to help.
