Printing to a shared printer

I have a peer-to-peer network of about 25 computers all running windows 2000. a printer is installed and shared on one system, and i have installed it as the default printer on all the other systems. but i cannot print to the shared printer from the other clients, unless logger in as administrator on them. is there a setting to change to allow ordinary users to be able to print with the default print settings already set up?
