I have a user that is trying to print from Word to PDF using Adobe Acrobat’s PDF printer driver. The resulting PDF always has a checkered background. The user’s original Word doc has no background set on it. The PDF printer settings (in Distiller) appear to be normal. Acrobat is version 7.0.5, and Word is 2003. Any thoughts?
